With jam-packed schedules and delayed flights, many frequent travelers don't have much time to freshen up between landing on the runway and dashing to a client dinner.

Need some help? Here are three easy hairdos that will get you there on time and in style.

1. Low Side Braid
As most frequent travelers will attest, any hairstyle that is gathered at the back of the head can be quite uncomfortable while flying. A ponytail or bun pulled at the back of the head prevents you from leaning back comfortably, and we all know that space is very limited on planes in the first place!

Enter the low side braid. The look is stylish and on trend, plus, a low braid won't interfere with your ability to rest your head back on your seat. Just gather your hair on one side at the nape of the neck, secure with a hair elastic, and braid. (Try a fishtail braid if you feel extra confident in your braiding abilities.) Secure another elastic at the end of the braid, and you're finished.

The best part about this hairstyle is that you can either leave the braid in place for your dinner date once you arrive at your destination, or you can pull it out to reveal loose, flowing waves. It's a win-win!

2. Straight and Sleek
Another great option while traveling is the super straight look. Running a flat iron through your hair will create a smooth, silky style that will last you from your plane ride all the way to your working dinner. Just be sure to travel with a decent boar bristle brush to smooth out any kinks that might have popped up on the plane. You may also want bring along a small, travel-sized flat iron for a quick touch up.

Pro tip: The best way to prep your hair on the morning of your travel plans is to wash with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, towel dry, and then spray your hair with a shape-holding heat protectant before blow drying. That way your hair will be protected from the heat and will keep it's smooth shape throughout the day. If your hair is prone to tangles, bring a fabric ponytail holder to use on the plane. It will keep your hair frazzle-free, yet won't cause a crease in your smooth and sleek mane.

3. Easy Airport Bathroom Updo
Another option is to wear your hair down on the plane, and then create an easy updo when you arrive at your destination’s airport. Try a low chignon or a messy bun, for a chic, on-the-go look — this is even easy to do in the bathroom airport. This video demonstrates an easy side chignon, which would be perfect for the frequent traveler.
