3 Easy Ways to Spruce Up Your Game-Day Hairstyle

Add team color and cheer to your look with these three easy and chic game-day hairstyles.

The weather's cooling off, and the season of weekend game-days is here. You don't need to be a sports fan to enjoy a little football or basketball once in a while — just throw on your game-day smile and get ready to rock some chic, easy hairstyles perfect for all types of athletic enthusiasts, be it football or disc golf.

1. The Easy Bow
The quickest way to spruce up your ponytail is to tie in a scarf. Seriously, it doesn’t take more than two minutes, and adds a completely new and chic dimension to your ponytail (especially if you’re rocking your team’s colors). Just be sure to pull the scarf through the underneath of your ponytail holder before tying in a bow. That way, the scarf will stay intact while you're jumping and hollering for your favorite team.

2. The Topknot
Already have your hair pulled up in a ponytail on the top of your head? Just twist it around itself into a bun and secure with bobby pins. Voilà — no boring ponytail to be seen. (The bonus with this look is if you create the bun with damp hair, you will have beautiful loose waves when you're ready to hit the town after the big game.)

3. The Braid
For those of you who enjoy a looser, low ponytail, a braid is the perfect next step. Whether you create a traditional or a fishtail braid, keep it low and loose for the ultimate casual game-day look. A spritz of Pantene’s Flexible Hold Hair Spray should keep it in place without looking too "done."
