3 Game-Time Looks to Get You Through Half-Time and Beyond

Show off your team spirit in style with these three chic, sporty looks.

When it comes to football, fashion isn't necessarily the first thing that pops into your head. But over the years, game-time outfits have become incredibly chic. Get into the spirit (and add to the fun) with these three looks that will make you the belle of any game-time ball.

1. The Team Jersey
Start with a jersey featuring your team of choice. Ideally, you want to find a women's size that will fit you properly. But if you can't find one, you can always try the children’s section and get an extra-large. Or, buy a small men's jersey and simply tie a knot in the back to make it a little tighter.

Next, add a dark pair of skinny jeans. They show off your figure while still keeping your team-spirit style in check.

As for shoes, you can go two routes. If you know there will be a place to sit and rest your feet, contrast your athletic jersey with a pair of sexy heels. If you're unsure of seating arrangements and may have to stand for hours, go safe with flats. A pair with a pointy toe can help elongate your legs and complement your skinny jeans.

2. The Team Colors
If you don't feel like buying a jersey but you still want to show support for your favorite team, simply wear their colors! Try a bright shirt with dark jeans, or a plain white T-shirt coupled with trendy, colorful jeans.

You can also use accessories to your advantage. Create a game-time arm party by stacking different color bracelets on your wrist. Or, add a pop of color with a festively hued shoe.

3. The Team Neutral Look
Even if you're not rooting for a specific team, you can still enjoy any game in festive style. Stripes are a great sporty option. Try a striped T-shirt, jeans and a fun pair of sneakers. Then, glam it up with gold jewelry.

Another no-fail accessory? A baseball cap. This classic hat is totally on trend, so you’ll no doubt be able to find quite a few fashionable options. Some even come in leather!

Another trend that's perfect for game day is the athletic pant, which has a drawstring waist and is loose in the hips, tapering down at the ankle. Wear them with a pair of heels to feminize the look. The best part about it? You can dig into the nachos and wings without having to worry about your pants getting too tight!
