5 Beauty Tips for an Easy Morning Routine

Wake up to an easy morning routine with our 5 beauty-ready tips.

Mornings can be stressful — especially as the school year starts up again. It’s hard to get yourself ready for the day when you have a whole family to worry about! While you can’t ever guarantee an easy morning, it helps to start prepping for your morning routine the night before. Follow these five beauty tips to get started:

1. Prep Your Face
The first step to ensure a smooth morning is to prepare the night before. You don’t want to be worrying about scraping off old mascara and wiping off caked-on foundation while you’re rushing to get the kids ready for school. Do yourself a favor and use Olay Regenerist Micro-Exfoliating Wet Cleansing Cloths to remove the makeup without the fuss. Finish off your entire face with a toner and apply Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream. If you follow these steps, you’ll awake with a clean canvas that may only need a few minor touchups.

2. Keep it Simple
You probably won’t have time to put on a full face, but you also probably won’t need to. Since you’ll be starting with smooth, clean skin, you’ll only need one or two products to complete your look and feel your best — especially with some powerful multi-tasking products. A versatile bronzer or 2-in-1 products. You won’t need a dozen different products to get ready in the morning. There’s nothing worse than scrambling around through your makeup bag or bathroom drawers when you’re already running late. Set out everything you will want for the next day — like your makeup, skincare and hair products. Lay them out on your counter or vanity to ensure that you don’t waste any time looking for what you need.

3. Prep Your Hair
If you’re looking to save time each morning, washing and blow-drying is not the most efficient way to go about it. Instead, use Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo. It will absorb the oil and give you beautiful second-day hair.

However, if you have the type of hair that you can style the night before, do it! Whether you want to blow out, straighten or curl your hair the night before, you’ll only have to worry about touchups in the morning. After you style your hair, sleeping with it in a loose hair tie at the nape of your neck will help to prevent a case of bed head.

4. Prep Your Kids
Since sending your kids off to school is part of your routine as well, be sure they’re ready to go in the mornings. Whether they bathe in the mornings or the evenings, you can use Aussie’s G’Day Grape 3-in-1 soap to get them clean from head to toe. Then put a schedule together if needed that includes washing hands and faces, brushing teeth (use a toothpaste or toothbrush from Crest with their favorite cartoon character on it so they’re excited to clean those teeth), and getting ready for the day. If your kids are prepared in the mornings, it will give you more time to get yourself ready for the day.
