Few people in this world are more brutally honest than toddlers -- and that's awesome! But also ... embarrassing. We asked nine mamas to reveal the most awkward thing their little ones have ever said (in front of other people), and boy did they deliver.
Prepare to be super glad you weren't in these moms' shoes when their toddlers said these majorly embarrassing things!
"We were leaving the DMV, and for some reason, my toddler was the only person on the planet who WANTED to be at the DMV. I had to carry her out of there, as she wouldn't walk, and she started screaming, 'Help me! Somebody help me!' so it seemed like I was kidnapping my own kid. Did I mention there were some police officers stationed right outside the DMV?" -- Jeanne S., mom of a 9-year-old girl
Oh, No She Didn't
"My daughter once opened my blouse up in the supermarket checkout and exclaimed, 'Boobies!' Luckily, there was only one lady behind me!" -- Mel F., mom of 4- and 6-year-old girls
"My son shouted, 'Fast food is the enemy!' in the middle of the produce aisle of the food co-op. Yes, everyone, I brainwashed my son. So what?!?" -- Adriana V., mom of a 10-year-old boy
"My daughter recently told my neighbor that her newborn baby wasn't as cute as our friend's baby. I don't think my neighbor was too happy about that!" -- Lisa T., mom of 2- and 7-year-old girls and a 5-year-old boy
I Swear, He's Lying!
"Last year, my family and I were having ice cream at a local shop when my son pointed to the bathroom and yelled, 'Mama, is that where you went poop?' And I hadn't even been to the bathroom!" -- Kathy W., mom of 3- and 8-year-old boys
"Oh my gosh, this was the worst. Years ago, when my daughter was 3, we were on a walk where we bumped into my next-door neighbor and his dog. We stopped to talk, and my daughter said, 'Mommy, is this the dog who doesn't shut up?' I was mortified." -- Linda S., mom of a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy
"The other day my daughter didn't want to leave the store, so I led her out by her hand. While we were walking out, she started yelling, 'Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!' I definitely wasn't holding her tightly, but it sure seemed that way!" -- Ivy A., mom of a 4-year-old girl
"I accidentally bumped into my son the other morning when I was getting his coat and said, 'Ooh, sorry! Didn't mean to hit you!' And then later, when we were at the store, he said, 'Mommy, why did you hit me today?' in front of about five people!" -- Terry W., mom of a 3-year-old boy and a baby girl
