10 Kids Who Have So Little Respect for Their Moms It’s Hilarious

These moms couldn’t believe their kids had the guts to say such outrageous things.

If you’re lucky, your kids spoil you at least on Mother’s Day and your birthday, maybe make you breakfast in bed or clean their rooms without being asked eight frillion times. As for all the other days of the year, though, it’s hard to count on children to be angelic and helpful and appreciative of all their parents do for them (and if they were we’d probably take them to the pediatrician to see what was wrong with their brains). Of course no one likes to be taken for granted, yet sometimes kids can be so wildly, ridiculously ungrateful that the only thing we can do is laugh about it. Here, 11 moms share the outrageous comments their kids have made.

1. “I was talking to my son about Mother’s Day, and he sighed and said, ‘I think there should be a son’s day.’ His struggle is real, guys.” -- Jennie C., mother of a 5-year-old son

2. “One time, I asked my son to run upstairs to grab something for me. He said, ‘When are you going to do something for me?!!’ And then my head spun around, and I lost my cool.” -- Kori C., mother of a 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter

3. “My daughter once pulled the, ‘Do I have to do everything around here?!’ line. I blacked out.” -- Michelle S., mother of two daughters, ages 6 and 4

4. “My daughter once said, ‘I spent all night serving you.’” -- Jen G., mother of a 5-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son, with a son on the way
