“The Talk” is Still Going Strong

“The Talk” was just the beginning. Tune in to hear Luvvie Ajayi discuss racial bias.

In July 2017, My Black is Beautiful unveiled “ The Talk.” No, we’re not referring to “the birds and the bees” – we’re talking about the discussion parents of black children often have with their kids about race and bias to prepare them for the very real world ahead of them.

But “The Talk” didn’t stop there. People everywhere shared their own experiences, and the discussion has since spread to the podcast favorite “The Nod.” Check out the episode below, which talks about not only recognizing that racial bias exists, but also defining it and discussing it with your child – otherwise known as “The Talk.”

The Nod

My Black is Beautiful brand ambassador Luvvie Ajayi interviews “The Nod” co-hosts Brittany Luse and Eric Eddings about their own experiences with “The Talk” and the ways in which it is often woven into their everyday lives and conversations.
