Three Delicious Meals with Five Ingredients

There are quincenas during which we have to budget more than others, but do not fret, you can enjoy some delicious dishes using only five ingredients.

1. Very Berry Salad

Ingredients
1 packet of mixed lettuce
3/4 cup sliced strawberries
1/2 package of Brie cheese cut into strips
1/2 cup of walnuts
Olive oil and balsamic vinegar to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the lettuce
  2. Dry the lettuce
  3. Place lettuce, strawberries, Brie and walnuts in a bowl
  4. Season to taste
  5. Mix all ingredients well and enjoy

Ingredients
1 packaged Cauliflower
16 ounces of cream
1 cup of grated cheese
1 cup of diced mozzarella
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. If you bought frozen cauliflower, thaw it. If you bought fresh cauliflower, boil it in a pan until cooked and cut into pieces. Place cauliflower in an oven safe dish
  2. Once the cooked cauliflower is in the dish, pour in the cream, mozzarella and half a cup of grated cheese
  3. Once your oven is heated to 425 F, put the container with the mixture in the oven for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes have passed, pull the dish out, sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and place it back in the oven
  4. Pull out of the oven when the cheese on top is a golden brown. Don’t forget to let it cool down before digging in

3. Breaded Chicken

Ingredients
2 pounds chicken breast
6 eggs
16 ounces of breadcrumbs
2 1/4 cups of parsley
Oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken breast, wash and give it a few poundings to soften
  2. Whisk the eggs in a bowl
  3. Add parsley and salt and pepper to the whisked eggs
  4. Place the softened chicken breasts in the bowl
  5. Place the breadcrumbs in a different bowl
  6. Take the chicken breasts from the egg bowl one by one and roll them in the breadcrumbs until they are covered
  7. Once your oven reaches 400 F, place the chicken on a baking sheet with a little bit of oil and cook them for 20 minutes or until they are golden and cooked throughout
