  1. In small bowl, add yeast to warm water and allow to sit for about 5 minutes
  2. In a large bowl, add 3 cups of flour and salt
  3. Mix together and make a hole in the middle of the flour mountain (think volcano)
  4. Add yeast to the well
  5. Mix everything together using your hands or the dough hook attachment on your mixer
  6. Add olive oil and remaining flour, one cup at a time, to the dough
  7. Once everything has been mixed in, knead the dough until no longer sticky, about 5 minutes
  8. Put dough into a well-oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth
  9. Place dough in a warm corner in your kitchen. Allow dough to double in size, which should take 45-60 minutes

Pepperoni Bread Assembly Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Line a large cookie sheet or jellyroll pan with foil or parchment paper
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out into a long rectangle
  4. Sprinkle the pizza dough with mozzarella cheese and layer pepperoni on top of cheese
  5. Beginning with the long side of the dough in front of you, tightly roll the log to the opposite edge
  6. Pinch seam and ends shut to avoid cheese oozing out
  7. Place seam on the bottom (touching the cookie sheet)
  8. Bake pepperoni bread for 20-25 minutes
  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing
  10. Slice with a serrated knife and serve with a delicious dipping sauce

Tip: Serve the pepperoni bread slices with a delicious warm marinara sauce or some melted butter with a dash of garlic salt and Parmesan cheese for a delicious snack or appetizer.
