Spring Break Crafts: Dipped Vases

Spring Break Crafts: Dipped Vases

A fun, easy and beautiful family project – perfect for a rainy spring day.

Make beautiful and simple vases with acrylic paint out of mason jars or other glass thrift finds. Squirt a generous amount of paint into a jar. Then twirl the jar around slowly as the paint coats the inside. Continue until you are happy with your vase, adding paint if needed. Repeat with each jar, letting each dry for a day or two before filling with flowers.

One catch: Acrylic paint is water-based, so you'll need to fill a smaller jar or cup with water and place it inside your new vase.
