Tide Boost helps my hobby

I live in a vacation paradise. Tourists often lose towels out of their convertibles, or throw them away on the way to the airport. I collect them, wash them, and give them to the Humane Society. Tide Boost is very good at getting them clean. Why is it getting hard to find?

Tide Pods are FANTASTIC

I LOVE Tide Pods! They're so convenient and easy to use. It's the same great Tide I love, only more convenient. I have to leave the building to do laundry and now I don't worry re spilling a liquid on the way to the laundromat.

Boost is the best stain fighter I've used

We found Boost one day and decided to try it as we've had clothes marred by stains that did not come out no matter what. We were a bit skeptical at first but now I won't even think about washing anything that has the least bit of stain on it without Boost. It's a marvel to me and I keep telling people about it. I'm a walking advertisement for Boost. I've never had a problem with it not dissolving, it always removes stains and it's saved me $$$ by taking stains out of all my clothes. I'm going to stock up on it as I've not always been able to find it in the warehouse places I shop.

Horrible!

I tried these a few times and they did not work for me at all. The little packet got stuck to an article of clothing each time, even with the machine on 2 rinses. I even tried different water temps and... d its suppose to be for any water temp. All of the white powder was everywhere and the plastic pod stuck to the clothes just opened. It was awful! I tried it a few times because I didnt think they could be this bad and it kept happening. I will never buy this again

Tide Boost Duo Pac
gets those stains out and gets clothes bright

Awesome product. I have a baby and I wash her clothes once a week. Yes, I let the food stains sit all week on her clothes. When I wash them, I get all the stained clothes and put them in a bucket with two of the stain pods and some Tide with Bleach. I let the bucket sit for half an hour and then go through and lightly rub where the stains were. Usually they are already gone! Then I wash with Tide with Bleach, My baby's clothes are consistently stain free and bright and white. I have tried many other methods and this is the only one that gets out the stains. Not even pretreating works like this. I have tried oxy powder, and while it does whiten, it didn't get the stains out. So, I was left with a ultra white shirt with a big staihe on it. With this product, I get the whitening and brightening of oxy plus unbelievable stain removal. I really don't know how I would deal with the baby food stain mess otherwise, Nothing else works, and not even chlorine bleach gets the whites as white, plus this product can be used on colors so you dont have to wash the whites alone. The best!

The pods don't work.

I've used the tide liquid laundry boost with good results for several years, but it's getting hard to find, so I tried the pods. Horrible. They don't melt in cold water, and they leave white residue all over my clothes. I will not buy them ever again.

It works

I do like these little guys. I do my pre-stain spray when it happens. I pop these in when I do the wash and wow! I don't get the gotta wear sunglasses to see white, but not far from it I think. Stuff really does come off. I had one shirt that I couldn't get this one stain off at all (a yr or so) got a sample on something and with in 2 washes it was almost gone, 3rd it was. I now pop them in every wash whether I need it or not. Just in case I didn't see something. I am not getting my mom hooked

Tide Boost Duo Pac
Liquid vs. Duo Pacs

I have a Maytag top-loading HE washing machine and the Duo Pacs do not dissolve using this technology. Had to rewash the last load where I used the pacs as there was residue on the clothing at the end of the cycle. I prefer the Tide Boost liquid but cannot find it in my local stores. I'll go back to using Clorox II liquid until the Tide Boost liquid shows up on store shelves again.

Tide Boost Duo Pac
Ruined my clothes!

I bought this product hoping that it would help "boost" cleaning my laundry but in fact, it made it even worse. After a few uses, I realized there was white residue all over my dark clothes, especially my black dress pants. I thought maybe something was left behind in one of the pockets or in the washer since I share the laundry with other tenants in my building. However, I soon realized that it was the Tide Pacs that were causing the problem. I'm really frustrated because now I can't get the stains out of my clothes. I've spent numerous mornings scrubbing my work pants trying to get out the stains but as soon as I put them back into the washing machine, they end up with the same residue again. I've searched through the washing machine to try and find any leftover pieces of the Pacs but I haven't had any luck. I am really frustrated and I'm not sure how to fix this problem even though I've stopped using the Pacs. I really hope that Tide figures out a solution before other consumers' clothes are ruined.

Ruined clothes

I have used the Tide boost packs along with Tide detergent for some time with good results. But, now I am upset that I have hundreds of dollars worth of clothes that are ruined with orange stains/bleach marks. I have numerous light colored Banana Republic cotton t-shirts, long sleeve Gap shirts, 2 pair of Eddie Bauer corduroy pants, a very nice Hoodie and Nautica cotton lounge pants that are ruined. Its not like you can test for color fastness with a pac. Do not throw these in your washer.

A lifesaver for clothes!!!

I am a wife and mother of a one and two year old. As you can imagine, life is pretty hectic. I first used Tide boost pacs when my husband accidentally set in some stains in my shirts. My mom gave me one and said, "try it, what do you have to lose?" It was the best thing ever!!! It not only took out the stains in my clothes but all the formula, carrot and baby pea stains in my kids clothes!! I take pride in my clean clothes and won't do wash without these little helpers on standby!!!! I toss one in every load of kids clothes as an easy stain fighter. Very grateful that I have stain-free clothes from our first daughter as we are expecting another girl in just a few weeks!!!!

Finally a bleach replacement.

No need to do the whole baking soda/powder, vinegar, and laundry detergent thing....tide boost does it all and it is so easy and the results blew my mind. i love this product and have been recommending it to everyone i know. the price is a bit of an issue but overall worth it!! my husband also loves the results. he used to complain about his socks and whites not being white enough or grease stains that wouldnt come out. he likes that and i like how easy and effective it is!! great product. i would like to try the tide pods and compare pricing/results. thanks tide!

Stain Release

I bought this because my mother uses tide a lot and raved about the stain booster so i bought these so i can toss it in my whites and light coloured clothes...well it took me a little while to figure it out but instead of removing stains it actually leaves orange stains on the clothes...I haven't managed to get those orange stains out yet I'm gonna have to probably bleach the whites and live with the stained coloured clothes. NOT happy with this product.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!

I purchased the Tide Stain Release Boost because it said that it would "whiten whites." I thought that would be great for some of my dingy whites. Boy was I wrong!!! I followed the package instructions EXACTLY and when my load of whites came out of the wash they had huge orange stains all over everything!! I now have towels, wash clothes, t-shirts and socks that are completely ruined! Not only was this product a waste of $$$ but it has cost me $$$ as well since I now need to replace all of these ruined items! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

I recently used my grandmother's tablecloth for a family dinner and noticed a few huge stains in the middle. The tablecloth was at least 30 years old and was trimmed with lace. After dinner, I decided to wash it with Tide Boost Duo Pacs not expecting anything because they were a 30 year old stains. A Clothes-Saver

I've never written to a company to tell them how much I love their product, but Tide Boost has saved so many clothes that I feel compelled to do so. I'd washed and dried a favorite tee-shirt repeatedly, and using every product I could think of, to get out a very set-in stain. Your product not only got it out, but I can't tell where it was. It's amazing.

Beware before you use!

I just pulled a load of laundry out of the washer and the Tide Pac didn't dissolve. It got stuck in a pair of my jeans and came out in chunks. I just put the clothes back in on the rinse cycle so hopefully it will rinse it out, but I'm really hoping it didn't ruin my jeans. It was a huge mess that got all over the floor and in the dryer. As for the stains, I've used these Pacs before and when they do dissolve properly I didn't notice much of a difference as opposed to any other name brand stain powder.

Ate our laundry

My son is great and bringing home wonderful stains all over his clothes. I tried the boost packs and the first few times, they worked great. But then I washed a few new shirts of his and noticed all these holes all through the shirt. First I wrote it off to faulty fabric, but then it happened a few more times. Then I washed his new sneakers and mine and used the boost pack. It has almost completely eaten the glue off the bottom of our shoes, brand new shoes and now they are ruined. I love tide, but I will never use these again!!!!!!!

Tide Boost Duo Pac
Adds stains instead of removing stains!

I purchased two packages of this product thinking it would get my clothes extra clean, especially whites. Boy was I wrong. I followed the directions exactly as they are stated on the package. But when the load was done I found that this stain release did not release stains, it actually added stains. All my whites had orange stains from the gel inside the pacs. In addition to the orange stains, the booster pac does not dissolve properly and because of that it leaves white clumps of laundry powder scattered about in the washer and stuck to clothes. Now my light colored clothing has orange stains from the gel and my dark colored clothing has white stains from the powder. I'm never buying this product again and I plan on going to the store where I purchased it from to see if I can get a refund.

Class project

I go to school for fashion, and in my textiles class we used this product for a homework assignment. We were asked to let it soak in a bowl of water with a stained piece of muslin. I let mine soak for a few hours and the stains were not as bad as they were to begin with but they weren't completely gone either. I'm sure that if we were to use this product in the actual washing machine that it would work better.

Never again

I was eating blackberries at lunch and somehow ended up with a stain on the back of the light colored dockers I was wearing. When I got home a 5hr later I immediately did a load of wash to get the blackberry stain out. The stain went from a dark stain to a bit lighter blue stain. It did not remove the stain totally. I then treated it with another brand product and the stain was gone after the wash. I did not dry the dockers after the first wash. I did after the second wash. I have tried this product with other stains and the result is the same. It doesnt NOT remove the stain. I will not buy this product again!

Use When Needed on Tough Stains

I used Tide Stain Release In-Wash Booster Action Pack on some tough stains. I was able to get blood and ketchup out of light clothing in the first wash. I also used it on grease stains. There is still a faint stain but if you did not know it was there you would not notice. The smell is also wonderful. I will use this product again. As with all major stain release products I am not certain about using it every time I wash.

What happened to my hoodie?

I recieved a sample of the In-Wash Booster in the mail and was excited to try it out. I threw a pac in with a load of whites thinking how great it would be to whiten some whites and if it got some small stains out of a few things i.e. my sons baseball pants, etc. that would be cool too! Well, I pulled my white hoodie out of the wash to air dry and when I went to go put it on later that day I noticed a bunch of orange-ish, red-ish spots all over the back and the inside of my hoodie. Spots that were NOT there before I put it in the wash. Needless to say, I definitely won't be purchasing this product in the future and now if I can't get the spots out I will have to hunt down a new white hoodie :(

a nice attempt...

This was a nice attempt by Tide to make their version of the oxy-clean booster pacs. However, Tide, you failed on this one. the plastic housing dosen't dissolve as well and the oxy-clean pacs remove stains better. Tide is the best when it comes to their detergents, but fail on all counts when it comes to their stain release products.

Awesome product!

Tried this product for the first time after a vacation with my three children. Among MANY other stains, my youngest daughter had spilled hot cocoa on her white with thin black stripes knit dress. It had sat on there for three days. I pre-treated it with an Oxi product, and it barely faded. I just knew the dress was ruined. Threw a Tide Action Pac in with the clothes and hoped for the best. Well, I got it!!! The dress looks like new again, and I am one loyal Tide customer!! Besides this stain, it also took out mud stains that had sat for seven days, and orange bbq stains on a white top from 4 days before, without pre-treating!! Thanks Tide for putting this product out there!

Works great

This product in liquid form works great. I tried these, as the lazy man way just throw in and be done. With my older washer it worked awesome, never left residue, or part of the pack un-melted. But I used warm water to wash. I just recently bought a new HE top loader washer, and have switched over to Cold water washing. I switched to TIDE HE COLDWATER and love the soap, great on stains! However the pack seems not to totally dissolve. So I tried throwing it in the bottom of the tub then adding the clothes. This seems to work alot better now, then using the soap dispenser. I will continue to use these packs, throw one in the bottom of the washer then its ready and waiting for me when I finish loading the washer!

BEST Stain Product Ever!

This is THE best stain product to come on the market in a long time. I use the small plastic pacs, and they are so simple! Just pre-treat the stain (or not!), pop the pac in the washer with your clothes, and the stains really do come off! Much better then using a stain-remover product by itself! Plus it smells like tide! Great product! Worth the money!

Goodbye Stains

As most people are, i am a long time user of Procter and Gamble products. Some of my favorite are Charmin, Crest, Herbal Essance, Pampers, Old Spice, Febreeze...well you get the idea. Procter and Gamble have been around for 174 years making our lives easier. One of there great new products is Tide Stain Release in-wash booster. Tide Stain Release comes in three convenient forms, the triger spray, powder, action packs (in regular and free), and a liquid. I tried the action packs this weekend and found it really does help with all those stains your children bring home to you! Grass, Ketchup, Chocolate, and even Strawberry Jelly are no match for this in-wash booster. To use the Tide Stain Release Action Packs put in your detergent, add clothes and put the Action Pack on top, the Action Pack will do the rest. While the back of the packet does not say blood, when my son got a bloody nose it was a perfect time to try it.. He gets to keep his shirt! I would recommend Tide Stain Release to anyone with young children. You can try Tide Stain Release for yourself. Follow Tide on Facebook and take the Tide Stain Release Challange.

Great stain releaser but be careful!!

This is a wonderful product and works miracles on stains. There is however a word of caution necessary. This stuff is sooo powerful that it can fade the color of the garment if it sits to long. Be careful that you don't pretreat and forget for a couple of hours with this stain releaser. So long as you treat the stain and then immediately put the garment in the washer and start the cycle, you should be stain free, whether the stain was set in or not!!! With 4 teenagers, I truly love this product!!
