Difficulty: Easy

Materials
(2) Matching wood top tables
2” hinge
(2) Decorative door pulls
Decorative latch
(9) 3/4” wood screws
(4) 2” wood screws
(8) 1” metal tack glides
(8) 1” self-adhesive felt pads

Tape measure

Directions

  1. Turn both tables upside down. Use a rubber mallet to hammer a 1” metal tack glide into the foot of each table leg (See image below)

  1. Stick a 1” self-adhesive felt pad onto each metal tack glide to protect the floor from scratches and make it easier to rearrange as needed (See image below)

  1. Place the tables side by side with the long sides together. A door pull will be added to the short side of each table. Measure the length of the short side of one table and mark the center with a pencil. Center a door pull over the pencil mark. Secure the door pull to the side of the table using a drill with a Phillips head bit and (2) 3/4” wood screws (See images below)

  1. Repeat Step 3 to add a door pull on the second table (See image below)

  1. A hinge will be added between the tables on the opposite sides to the door pulls. Close the hinge and place it between the tables. Check that the hinge opens the correct way so the tables will open up once the hinge is attached (See image below)

  1. Open up the tables and secure the hinge to each table using a drill with a Phillips head bit and (4) 2” wood screws (See images below)

  1. Close the tables together. Place a decorative latch over the tables where they meet on the opposite side to the hinge. Secure the latch in place using a drill with a Phillips head bit and (5) 3/4” wood screws (See images below)
