Nancy began her professional career designing and developing large-scale interactive exhibits around the world while moonlighting as a specialty sculptor for Mattel. Now she is the premier artist/designer for homes, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. A classically trained painter, sculptor, model maker and artist, she has made over hundreds of restaurants, bars, homes, beauty parlors and businesses under the tightest of budgets and shortest of time frames on television. Through her company, Nancy Hadley’s FAC, est. 1997, she and her team offer creative solutions for any design problem, either commercial or residential, working with clients to create beautiful spaces and/or artwork that reflect their sensibilities and taste while providing the appropriate form and function.

Nancy began her television career as lead muralist and art director for ABC Network’s Primetime Emmy–winning “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” where she was often featured on camera tricking out a child’s room or painting a mural in record time. After working for five seasons on “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” she was contacted by producers to renovate restaurants for Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares” on Fox Network. Her personality and design caught the eye of “Trading Spaces” on TLC, and she was cast for her first on-camera designer role.

You can see her and her bar design/renovations on the first twenty episodes of Spike’s “Bar Rescue.” Her designs and artwork are also featured on Bravo, ABC, NBC and SyFy.

Her continued success in the fields of TV, art and design has led to awards and accolades, including three Tellys and features in the Orange County Register and Artisphere magazine. She is past advisor to the Professional Decorative Painter’s Association, designer for the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum and a contributor to Nightclub and Bar Magazine.

When she is not running an art department, demonstrating on camera, MIG welding, virtual 3-D painting or creating her signature Gravity Paintings in her studio, Nancy spends time at home catching up with her husband, three children, two dogs and cat in her favorite design project of all time, their backyard.
