Instructions

  1. To create your mirrored stencil, draw out half of the desired shape on your layout board and cut it out with scissors
  2. Place the stencil around the door and secure with painters tape
  3. Trace the stencil shape onto the wall with chalk
  4. Remove the stencil and flip it over to create the other half of the design around the door and trace it onto the wall with chalk
  5. Remove the stencil and painters tape
  6. Paint in the traced out image with desired color (same as doorway). Let dry for 12 hours (follow manufacturer’s instructions for drying time)
  7. Use a fine brush and a darker color to accent the edges of the paint architecture. Let dry for 4 hours (follow manufacturer’s instructions for drying time)
