Instructions

  1. Paint canvas desired color. Let dry for 6 hours (follow manufacturer’s instructions)
  2. Using a measuring tape and a pencil, draw a horizontal line across the center of the canvas, and repeat to draw a vertical line along the center of the canvas. The meeting point of the two lines is the center of the canvas
  3. Place the plate in center and trace around it. This will serve as a guide
  4. Use the lines marked from finding the center in step 2 to mark the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock with metallic silver foil tape from the plate edge to edge of canvas
  5. Once established, run lines to rest of the clock numbers.
Tip: Use a clock kit to serve as spacer between remaining clock numbers
  6. Fill in the spaces with metallic gold foil tape. These will be the minutes
  7. Attach Lauan backboard to back of canvas. This will secure the clock kit in place and prevent it from ripping the canvas
  8. Drill a hole in the center of the canvas, through the backboard
  9. Attach clock kit, and set the time
