  1. Lay one pair of jeans flat on the sewing table. Sew the two pant legs together along the inseam with a running stitch. This pair of jeans will serve as the denim backing for the organizer.
  2. Take one pair of shorts, and line the waistband up with the bottom of the denim backing at the ankle. Apply a single line of hot glue between the denim backing and the shorts’ waistband. Press down firmly to secure in place.
  3. Take a second pair of shorts and line the waistband up to the shin of the denim backing. Apply a single line of hot glue between the denim backing and just the shorts’ waistband. Press down firmly to secure the second pair in place. Repeat one more time.
  4. For each pair of shorts, fold the legs in half underneath itself so the waistband and the bottom hems of the shorts are touching. Secure in place by applying hot glue to the back of each leg to form the pockets of the organizer.
  5. Slide a yardstick or ruler into the back of the jeans waistband belt loops.
  6. Tie multiple shoelaces together to form one long lace, and run the long lace through the back of the jeans waistband belt loops. Tie the ends together to form the loop from which the organizer will hang from.
  7. Slide the yardstick through the top of the highest pair of jeans to stabilize.
