Tropical Fruit Salad

Citrus fruits and ripe berries combine with cinnamon and agave for a sweet breakfast treat.

Glaze Ingredients:
¼ cup agave or honey
3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Fruit Salad Ingredients:
4 nectarines, chopped
4 mandarin oranges, peeled and divided into segments
2 lbs fresh strawberries, stems removed and quartered
1 fresh pineapple, cubed, or 2-20 oz cans pineapple chunks, drained
5 kiwis, quartered
½ pint firm blackberries


  1. In a small saucepan, cook the orange juice, lemon juice, agave and cinnamon over low heat. Stir continuously until it thickens and is reduced by half. Do not leave the pan unattended, as the mixture cooks quickly and can bubble over the pot
  2. Put all of the fruit in a large serving bowl. When ready to serve, pour on the glaze and serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers for two to three days
