Join the crowd with these nature-related activities that can help benefit your health.

1. Take a Hike!
What better time is there to re-explore your surroundings? Make it a spring resolution! Gather a group of family members or friends and find a nature reserve or visit your local park. Be sure to bring water, trail snacks and sunscreen. Then, get hiking! You'll be able to enjoy the simple beauty of nature, and before you know it, you'll be getting a great workout.

2. Not Just for the Birds
Bird watching is fun and easy, and all you need to start is a pair of binoculars and a guidebook of birds in your area. From there, pick a densely wooded spot and a comfortable place to sit. 3. Plant a Tree
You get to appreciate nature and add to it, too! To celebrate, find out if your city offers a tree-planting event — or even plant a new tree in your own backyard.

4. Try a New Outdoor Activity
Let the spring season motivate you to be active in a whole new way. Inline skating, outdoor yoga, tennis and golf are all perfect activities for the warm weather, and they are fun for all ages and levels of experience.
